The DuCane Arms
Owners of a village pub are making another bid to turn it into a home.
Barking Dogs Ltd was refused permission to change the DuCane Arms, in Tiptree Road, Great Braxted, into a five-bedroom house in January.
At the time, Maldon District Council had said it was not a sustainable location and would result in the loss of a community asset.
A new bid has been submitted to make it into a home with a first floor rear extension and detached double garage.
