Community spirit is growing in Heybridge as preparations begin for the third ever community festival.
The festival started in 2012 because the parish council wanted to create a sense of Heybridge identity in residents.
Preparations have been underway since November for the festival on July 27.
Michael Edwards, chairman of Heybridge parish council, said: “There are few opportunities to have a day out of fun for all the family and this is something we as a parish council can provide.
“It is an opportunity to bring the community together.
“We had our first festival in 2012 with an even better one last year and we hope this year’s is no exception.”
