Tickets go on sale tomorrow for a festival raising money for a brain-injured teenager.

Early bird tickets are now available for the Samstock 2014 festival, which will see headline acts Toploader and Next of Kin perform at Langford’s Museum of Power on June 21.

Vince Freeman, who was on the first series of BBC show The Voice, and Scarlett’s Roses, who have supported Jessie J, Lawson and Stooshe, have also been confirmed.

Samstock is the idea of Teresa Mecoy, of Mundon Road, Maldon, to help raise £14,000 for a communication aid for her son, Sam Richards.

He was injured in a playground accident in 2012 and is currently making good progress at a respite centre.

The 18-year-old will be able to control the communication aid with his eyes.
