Heybridge mums don silly socks for autism
Updated 5:14pm Tuesday 11th March 2014 in Local News
Two mums are raising money for an autism charity by wearing silly socks.
Natasha Hoffman and Kate Hailstone both have autistic sons and are holding a fundraising day for Autism Anglia on April 4.
They are encouraging people to wear silly socks to raise money and to educate people about autism.
Staff and pupils at Heybridge Pre-School and drivers at Banyards Taxis are also involved and will be wearing silly socks and donating money to the charity.
Mrs Hoffman said: "I know that some people don't like talking about it, but the sooner you ask for help, the better."
