Musicians can get some help with their songwriting from a man who has worked with the likes of Natalie Imbruglia and Mel C.

Boo Hewerdine is hosting a songwriting weekend at the Blue Boar Hotel, Silver Street, Maldon on Saturday and Sunday.

It has been billed as: “An inspiring and highly creative weekend for writers and musicians of all abilities in a encouraging and nurturing atmosphere.
