A young father who died suddenly has saved four lives with his organs.
Michael Brown, 33, of Market Hill, Maldon, was taken to Broomfield Hospital on February 25 and died on February 26.
His family were unaware that he was an organ donor but said they were very proud of him.
Anita Brown, 59, of Everest Way, Heybridge, said: “The thought that his heart is beating in someone else’s body is amazing."
