A business has scaled back plans for housing on its grounds.
CML Microsystems had originally planned to build 146 homes at its Oval Park site in Hatfield Road, Langford.
But Maldon District Council refused planning permission in August 2012 and a planning inspector dismissed an appeal last July.
Residents can see the new plans for 49 homes on Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
A public exhibition will be held at the Museum of Power, also in Hatfield Road, where residents can ask questions.
A planning application is to be submitted in the coming months.
