A TV star could be tackling this year’s hugely popular Maldon Mud Race.
This year’s spectacle on May 25, which will see hundreds of people slog through mud and water on the banks of the River Blackwater for charity, has already drawn celebrity attention.
Mud race chairman Brian Farrington remained tight-lipped about who would be braving the sticky 440-metre course but said he hoped an on-screen personality would also be joining them after some TV budgets are finalised in April.
The ever-popular event, which attracted a bumper crowd of 15,000 spectators last year when sun shone on the mud flats, has already had entries from across Europe, including Germany, France and Italy.
