Cycling enthusiasts looking for a challenge took part in the third annual Maldon Cycling Club ‘Cross On The Prom’ event this weekend.
Over 50 people took part in the event at Promenade Park on February 23.
Kevin Bunton, 54, of Coleridge Road, Maldon organiser of the event said: "We were really pleased with how the competition went and hope it keeps growing."
The Under 12’s race was won by Harrison Powell of Lee Valley Youth Cycle Club, the Under 16’s/Novices race was won by Kieran Jarvis of Great Yarmouth Cycle Club and the Juniors/Seniors/Veterans race was won by Russ Welch of Maldon Cycle Club.
