A schoolboy with a rare form of cancer hopes to help others after finding a stem cell donor.
Laughlin 'Lockey' Whiteley, six, is due to undergo a bone marrow transplant later this month.
He was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia last November, having already been successfully treated for a malignant brain tumour over 18 months.
His family and friends from Burnham have now set up Unlock a Life for Lockey, which aims to encourage people to donate stem cells for children with cancer and support their families.
They have teamed up with Delete Blood Cancer UK to organise a registration event at Laughlin's school, St Mary's Primary School in Burnham, on March 1 from 11am to 4pm.
