A heart-broken family have paid tribute a “mischief making” 19-year-old following his sudden and unexpected death.
Popular Glenn Thake, a former Notley High and Honywood Community Science School pupil, was much-loved and will be sorely missed by his close-knit family.
Stepdad Gary and mum Karen Harvey say they are overwhelmed by the generosity of friends, neighbours, colleagues and even strangers who have all chipped in to raise about £1,000 towards his funeral.
Glenn, who had most recently been living at the Braintree Foyer, died in the early hours of last Thursday while on an outreach project run by the Princes Trust in Bradwell-on-Sea.
