Plans for a new Sainsbury's supermarket and a health centre have been made public.

They will be built on land occupied by Crouch Vale Nursery and Plantworld in Burnham Road, South Woodham Ferrers.

Up to 320 jobs will be created at the store, which will cover 45,000 sq ft and have a petrol station and 479 parking spaces.

Greenwood Surgery, Kingsway Surgery and Brickfields Surgery will move into the purpose built health centre.

A new roundabout will be built on the Burnham Road and Hullbridge Road junction.

Residents can see the plans on Friday, January 24 between 10am to 7pm and Saturday, January 25, from 10am-3pm at South Woodham Ferrers Town Council in Champions Manor Hall, Hullbridge Road.

A planning application has yet to be made to Chelmsford City Council.

Crouch Vale Nursery and Plantworld, which own the land, are currently open as normal.
