Colourful fundraisers put their oar into the Blackwater
One thousand Maldonians lined the banks of the River Blackwater to watch participants battle strong winds in this year’s sponsored row.
Despite the conditions, Maldon’s waterfront was a hive of activity with 40 boats manned by 100 determined rowers making the mad dash along the river to raise thousands of pounds for charity.
The event, hosted by Maldon Little Ship Club and starting at Hythe Quay, took place for the 36th time.
