More than 3,000 people enjoyed late night shopping and festive fun at Maldon’s Christmas fayre.
There were 47 stalls along part of the High Street and in the town hall on Thursday **12th** and shops also opened late.
Father Christmas and Saint FM were also there, along with Morris dancers, local suppliers and mulled wine and ales.
Brian Farrington, chairman of the Maldon Mud Race charity, which organised the fayre, said there were more visitors than last year.
