Charitable students dressed down and saved up to help a collection for good causes.
All youngsters at Thurstable School in Tiptree took part in a charity day and Thomas Wright, 14, went above and beyond when he had his head shaved for Cancer Research UK.
The year groups supported charities including Help for Heroes, Macmillan, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Action Aid, Cancer Research, Little Havens Children’s Hospice, Clic Sargent and the Philippines Typhoon Appeal.
The total so far has topped £1,000, including £250 sponsorship for Thomas' hair sacrifice.
