Maldon and Burnham Standard: Having fun at Burnham's Christmas fayre Having fun at Burnham's Christmas fayre

Thousands of visitors enjoyed one of Burnham's most successful ever Christmas Fayres.

An estimated 5,000 people took part in Saturday's event, which included a festive hat competition, a children's nativity, music, swing boats and Father Christmas in his clock tower grotto.

The snow dome proved to be one of the most popular attractions and many stalls sold out of goods on the day.
