Layer Marney Tower
Experience a Downton Christmas at Layer Marney Tower.
The de Zoete family and their extensive staff will be stepping back in time to 1913 and the golden age of Christmas on Wednesday, December 18, and Thursday, December 19.
Ask them questions and join in parlour games with the family.
Children can also make Edwardian Christmas decorations and meet Father Christmas, who will have a present for them.
Layer Marney Tower is just off the B1022 midway between Tiptree and Colchester.
Tours run from 3.30pm to 6pm on both days. Tours will start every half hour and numbers on each tour are limited.
Tickets £10 for adults, £6 for children.
