Coastguards went to the aid of a man who fell from the seawall in Maldon
A man fell off the seawall at Maldon's Promenade Park.
Thames Coastguard were called just after 4.15pm yesterday by the ambulance service requesting help to reach the man, who had leg injuries.
The coastguard said he had fallen off the wall by the marine pool.
Essex Police and South Woodham Coastguard attended.
The casualty was transferred to the ambulance and taken to hospital.
