From whiskers to handlebars and even fully-grown beards men across the district have styled their facial hair for a cancer fundraising initiative.
November has seen men generate both money and laughter for Movember, which encourages men to grow moustaches in aid of prostate and testicular cancer programmes.
Jason Hazell, 47, the landlord of the Borough Arms, in Maldon, persuaded customers Andy Baines, John Gibbons and more to join him in his hairy task.
Adrian Francis, who owns the Old Ironworks Gym, in Fullbridge, Maldon, and tattooist Terry Coker, who runs Cobra Tattoo Studio, in Maylandsea, also took part in the challenge, along with men from across the district.
