5:00pm Friday 6th September 2013 in Local News
A baker brought a smile to sick children’s faces with a cake decorating lesson.
Victoria Neal, who owns Pinkfaces bakery in Burnham Road, South Woodham Ferrers, took part in Baking a Smile’s event at Evilina’s Children’s Hospital in Westminister.
She attended the event with her mother Jackie Exley, 53, and was one of five bakers working at the classes, including John Whaite, winner of TV baking competition Great British Bake Off 2012.
Charity Baking a Smile makes free custom made birthday cakes for seriously ill children.
