Burnham: Sailing and family fun in store for Burnham Week

Get your sea legs on for fun and sailing next weekend.
Burnham Week begins on Saturday and sailors will be taking part in the internationally famous ‘Cowes of the East Coast' competition.
Also for the first time, there will be Quay Day on bank holiday Monday from 10am to 5pm.
There will be a seafood festival, beer tent, stalls, local produce and handicrafts, traditional sideshows, live music from T Bone Steak and activities for children, water walking on balls, crabbing and sand painting.
There will be a fly-past by Squadron 37 from the Stow Maries Aerodrome at 11am.
Artist Jeremy Houghton will be exhibiting his work at Burnham Sailing Club.
On Saturday, August 31, there will be the famous Town Cup and final races, a duck race on the River Crouch and the annual firework display.
