Maldon district: We wheelie need bins!
Residents across the Maldon district are urging the district council to switch to wheelie bins in a bid to stop bags being ripped open by foxes and cats.
Maldon District Council supplies caddies for people’s household waste, which can store fruit, vegetables, raw meat, eggs, tea and coffee.

The 22-year-old was among more than 40 people on the Standard's Facebook page supporting a wheelie bin scheme.
