Burnham: New twist in parking row
A row over whether a stretch of road is a lay-by or a slip road has ended in an irate couple confronting a coach company.
Drivers at the Fords of Althorne depot, based in Fambridge Road, Althorne, said the furious pair stormed into the car park after they became so annoyed with buses parking outside their home.
Anthony Ford, a partner at Fords of Althorne, said the couple became annoyed after their coach dropped off Womens Institute members at Eves Corner in Burnham after a day trip to Colchester on March 8.

So much for living in the countryside to relax, sip life casually... I'm beginning to wonder if Burnham isn't fast becoming the most 'stressed' village in Essex? Or at least that's the picture MBS reporters portray.
A few weeks back a resident of The Pippins was moaning he couldn't sit in his garden (in the winter) because of the lack of privacy from aeroplanes constantly skimming the rooftops into Southend.
This week it's contractors resurfacing the roads and coaches dropping people off, I wonder who's going to be 1st to grumble about the Bikers who visit every weekend after it must be nearly that time of year again.
