Maldon: Tesco protesters say their views have been ignored
Anti-Tesco campaigners claim their concerns have been ignored as controversial store plans look set to get the go ahead.
Tesco’s plans to take over The Cups pub in Wantz Road, Maldon, have been recommended for approval by Maldon District Council planning officers.
A large number of objectors are expected to pack into the council offices this evening for the Central Area Planning meeting at 7.30pm at which a decision will be made on the proposed Tesco Express store.
