Police release their own YouTube films

POLICE have launched an online film demonstrating the work they do.

The Did You Know footage has been released on the Essex Police YouTube channel.

Chief Constable Jim Barker-McCardle said: "Some people may be surprised by the sheer breadth and range of activities that the force undertakes but the core message of the film is absolutely right. For us, it’s just a typical day.”

Nick Alston, Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Essex, added: "There are a lot of very dedicated people out there day and night, committed to protecting us and reducing crime in our county. This film brings that message home very clearly.”

Is this why the Police budget went up in the council tax?

Jack222 you are cynical but would you want to be a police officer out there day after day facing all sorts of hazards and remember a police officer is never off duty so they also face bad things whilst out of uniform. They do a **** good job under very pressurised circumstances
