Maldon district: Residents welcome huge amount of roadworks
Residents across the district are calling for the roads to be fixed, despite a staggering 6,000 roadworks currently taking place in the county.
Essex County Council topped a table of 81 local authorities who responded to a Freedom of Information request about works on their network.
East Yorkshire Council came second in the list with 2,066 ongoing roadworks.
