North Fambridge: Thieves hit garages

There has been a spate of garage burglaries in North Fambridge. Two thefts occurred from garages in Church Road between February 18 and 19. Thieves removed a window pane from one secure garage and took a radio controlled car, a set of flood lights and a circular saw. The overall value of the theft was £570.

A number of tools were also taken from another secure garage, after thieves forced the rear door, causing £100 worth of damage. It is not known which specific tools were stolen, but they are valued overall at £500.

Thieves also caused £200 worth of damage at Blue House Farm Chase, North Fambridge, after they tampered with a cupboard containing pumping gear. The incident occurred between 4pm on February 19 and 2pm on February 22.
