Maldon: 80 caught without TV licence

More than 80 people were caught without a TV licence in Maldon last year.
Official figures on licence dodgers have recently been released by TV Licensing.
TV Licensing spokesman Victoria Sykes said: “The data shows evasion remains at historically low levels, with the overwhelming majority of people ensuring they are correctly licensed.
“In order to be fair to the law-abiding majority who do pay for their licence, we’ll continue to pursue the small minority of people do not pay.”
