Heybridge: Former Hammer teaches kids

Heybridge Swifts Youth FC under 10’s Lions were trained by an ex-Premier League star at the weekend.
Former West Ham hardman Julian Dicks drilled the team for almost two hours in the art of defending and shooting amongst other things.
Mr Dicks' training fee was paid for by Cargo Marketing in Chelmsford.
“It was very good. The boys all thoroughly enjoyed it,” said club secretary Cheryll Albone.
“He said that the kids were all marvellous.”
Team manager Ben Albone added: “It went really well. Julian came down and tried to instil his never give up attitude into the boys.”
“I think the training will help them in future matches. The boys were excited about having an ex-pro come down and they really concentrated on what he was telling them.”
