Southminster: Fire investigation underway
Fire fighters are investigating the cause behind a house fire in Southminster on Friday.
Emergency services were called to a property in West House Estate after reports of a fire in the roof space.
The fire was extinguished just before 3pm.
One man suffered from smoke inhalation and an ambulance was requested for a second man who was suffering from burns.
A fire and rescue service spokesman said: "The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage."
