A dad-of-two has described his shock after he was subjected to a horrific dog attack in Mayland.
Andrew Bourjot, 43, of Katonia Avenue in Mayland, was hospitalised after a Husky type dog bit him and his 12-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrior, named Jazz, last Wednesday morning.
Mr Bourjot, who runs The Horny Toad bar in Marine Parade, was walking Jazz at around 10.30am in the car park in Katonia Avenue when the Husky hurtled towards them from the playing field.
He said: “I bent down to pick up my dog when it jumped on us. It latched onto my legs.
“I was beating the hell out of it so it would let go, but it didn’t even flinch."
