Southminster: Hundreds support petition over ambulance concerns Southminster: Hundreds support petition over ambulance concerns

A daughter's campaign for an urgent review into the ambulance service has been backed by more than 500 people

Lynne Wye started her campaign after her dad John Wye, 73, of Buttercup Way, Southminster, died in her car after they were told he faced a four-hour ambulance wait.

Miss Wye is now hoping to attract 1,000 signatures on her petition which she will then deliver to the Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt.

Her campaign follows concerns raised by both police and fire fighters over the ambulance service.
