Maldon: Power fault caused "flashes" in the sky
Residents witnessed huge “flashes” in the sky after a fault developed in overhead power lines, leaving 250 homes without electricity.
Power to homes in the London Road and Doubleday Drive areas was interrupted at around 9.30pm on Sunday evening following a fault on the high voltage overhead electricity network.
