Who is your NHS Hero?
NHS Heroes provides people with chance to say thank you and acknowledge people who have been heroes this winter.
Patients, their friends and families, colleagues and professional peers can all nominate their personal NHS hero.
Andrew Morgan, EEAST's Interim Chief Executive, said: “This winter we have seen just how inspirational our staff are and it is because of their determination and spirit that patients have continued to be able to access the care they need.
"I know many of our staff treat patients at very difficult incidents on a daily basis, which really hits does hit home why we’re all here and what we’re working towards.
" I am very proud of the excellent care our staff continue to give to patients.
“Members of the public sometimes aren’t sure how to show their appreciation for the care they have received – our Patient Services team is here to help with that but NHS Heroes is another great chance to do this.”
