ANGRY Burnham residents have written to their Town Council after the increased frequency and noise of aircraft above their homes.
The Council wrote to Southend airport to seek clarification and confirmation that the flight paths and heights of arriving aircraft and flight paths of departing aircraft are in accordance with the prescribed limits of the appropriate legislation.
Members had hoped that because of the Burnham's position in relation to the river and open farmland to the south, that there would be scope for an adjustment to the flight path to reduce the level of disturbance being experienced by residents.
