Maldon district: Be prepared for snow tomorrow and Saturday
Be prepared for more snow!
That is the message from the Met office after further snowfall is due in the East of England tomorrow and across the weekend.
Snow will reach parts of Scotland during Friday morning, and eastern parts of England during the late evening, likely to clear these eastern areas by the early hours of Saturday. Four to eight centimetres of snow are expected.
Strong winds will also lead to drifting and blizzard-like conditions, particularly over higher level roads in the north. People should be prepared for likely travel disruption.
