Shoplifters have stolen hundreds of pounds worth of cosmetics from Maldon’s Superdrug in a series of distraction thefts.
Manager Colin Smith has now urged for a higher police presence after admitting to feeling “totally isolated”.
A man and woman stole £300 worth of Olay products from the High Street store at 3.40pm on January 14.
The man was six foot, with a stocky build, short brown hair and was wearing a brown jacket, grey trousers and a grey scarf.
The woman was 5’4” with with black hair, slim build and was wearing black leggings.
She was also carrying a blue and yellow shopping bag with pink handles.
The store was targeted again on Sunday when £150 worth of Max Factor cosmetics were stolen.
