Maldon: World’s biggest fundraising swim comes to town
SWIMMERS in Maldon will have the chance to take part in the world’s biggest fundraising swim.
Swimathon comes to the Blackwater Leisure Centre from April 26 to 28 and water lovers will have the chance to challenge themselves to 5k, 2.5k and 1.5k individual challenges or Team 5k/1.5k challenges.
All money raised from the event will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care, whose nurses help to care for terminally ill people at the end of their lives.
