North Fambridge: Villagers dig deep for air ambulance
Villagers have raised more than £300 for the Essex Air Ambulance by not sending each other Christmas cards.
Instead of sending Christmas cards to friends and family in the village, residents in North Fambridge donated the money they would have spent on cards to the charity.
Ann Cutting, 53, of The Avenue, North Fambridge, has organised the fundraiser for the last seven years.
Mrs Cutting said: “Even though money is tight for everyone this year, we still raised £335."
