Essex: Train woe for county
WEEKEND travellers were left stranded in freezing temperatures after Essex-bound trains were cancelled.
Journeys from London Liverpool Street to Witham which should have taken 55 mins took some passengers more than two hours on Sunday night.
Rail users reported waiting more than 30 minutes at Shenfield Station for a connection after tens of trains out of the capital were axed.
