Maldon: Find the thugs who did this to me

A mum has spoken of her terror when three men attacked her and her partner in a Maldon estate.

Elizabeth McGuire, 23, was punched in the face by the thugs who she says jumped her in a random attack in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The full-time mum was talking to her partner Stephen Davies in Wordsworth Avenue when the men launched themselves at them.

She said: “They were punching and kicking us, my partner had to cover me at one point.

“I was so scared they were going to kill my partner.”

She was then taken to Broomfield Hospital by ambulance after the men had run off.
