Mayland: 20-year-old hospitalised an hour into new year
A 20-year-old woman was hospitalised just hours into the new year after a stationary car was hit in Mayland.
Police were called to The Drive at 1.10am after a black Nissan Juke smashed into a parked blue Renault Megane.
The woman was sent to Broomfield Hospital with head injuries, which aren't thought to be life-threatening.
A 21-year-old was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving but was later released from custody after blowing a reading under the limit.
