Ineffective parking restrictions are causing chaos outside Burnham’s primary schools because they are not legally enforceable, it has been claimed.
The alleged blunders were revealed at a police neighbourhood action panel meeting.
Ken Harris, who chaired the meeting, claimed two parking signs were missing outside St Mary’s Primary School, in Marsh Road, and he added there was no traffic regulation order in place for a yellow line on the other side of the road to Burnham Primary School, in Dunkirk Road.
