A new deafblind club has been created in Heybridge.
The club, which will run from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month, at Hazelwood Court, off Oak Road, will provide support for people with a combined sight and hearing loss.
Deafblind UK project officer for Essex, Sue Campbell, said: “People with this condition very often feel isolated and lonely and this is an opportunity to get out of the house to alleviate some of that feeling and to meet new people.”
To join, call 07920 802678 or email sue.campbell@deafblind.org.uk
