Burnham: Family stuck amid the Sandy superstorm devastation
11:15am Wednesday 31st October 2012 in Local News
A Burnham mum-of-two is stranded in the States amid the chaos caused by superstorm Sandy.
The trail of devastation and death toll of killer storm Sandy could be turned into a Hollywood film script, but it is a reality for former St Peter’s School pupil Nancy Laramie.
Mrs Laramie [nee Childs], who grew up in Arcadia Road, Burnham, with her parents Peter and Christine and sister Katie, is now living in rural Ridgefield, Connecticut, with her Canadian husband Jay and children aged 15 and 13.
See the Burnham Standard for Mrs Laramie's full interview.
