Maldon: Grow your tasche for cash

Men from the Maldon district are being encouraged to leave the shavor alone next month.

Barber Daryl Alsop, 23, of Aesthetics in Edwards Walk, and Maldon High Street’s Harry Green Gentlemen’s Barbers have joined forces to support the prostate cancer charity - Movember.
 

During the month of November, they are asking men to grow a moustache to highlight and raise money for the charity.
 

Former Thurstable School pupil Mr Alsop, who used to live in Tollesbury, is inviting men to come into his shop for before and after pictures.
 

He said: “It’s something I noticed people doing last year and it’s something I wanted to get on board with.

“It’s a bit of fun and it doesn’t cost anything to do either.”
 

The top three most impressive moustaches will be awarded goody bags.
