Burnham: Mum calls for action over 'horrendous' school parking

A worried mum is calling for action after a child was nearly knocked over outside a Burnham primary school because of “horrendous” parking.

For about 30 minutes each morning and afternoon, motorists obstruct driveways, block roads and park on double yellow lines and zig-zags outside Burnham County Primary School, in Dunkirk Road.

Florist Dawn McCarthy, 46, of Western Road, thinks something needs to be done quickly before a tragic accident occurs.

She said: “It’s absolutely horrendous.

“People are constantly parking across zig zag lines and double yellow lines to drop their kids off and blocking children’s vision of the road.

“It’s an accident waiting to happen.”

Where ever there is a school this will always happen.
Why should their little treasures WALK to school if they can be dropped of in the school doorway.

I'm going to correct your post as you clearly never paid any attention at school to spelling or punctuation.

Where ever = wherever
Why should = a question yet there isn't a question mark at the end of your sentence.

5/10

Reg, you forgot the full stop after wherever.

Only 1/10, cos you should know better and practice what you preach.
