Tollesbury: Two-time cancer survivor celebrates milestone birthday
A two-time cancer surviver has celebrated a milestone birthday.
Frances Burns, known as Peggy, turned 100 on Thursday and celebrated with friends with a trip to a garden centre for lunch.
Peggy, of Hasler Road, Tollesbury, said: “It was marvellous, I had a wonderful day.
“I was very surprised to get a card from the Queen, it was lovely.”
