THE 3foot People Festival has celebrated its fifth birthday.
An area of Chelmsford’s Central Park was transformed into a wonderland for the under fives.
The event run for three days from Wednesday July 1 to Friday July 3.
This year, the festival proved as popular as ever with all 6,000 tickets selling out in ten hours.
The festival included all kinds of arts and crafts workshops, singing and dancing, a soft play area, spectacular science shows by ‘Mad Science’ and a mini farm.
Elsewhere on site, toddlers enjoyed the ever-popular show tent, storytellers and a giant sand pit.
Chelmsford Council’s cabinet member for leisure and cultural services Ray Ride said: “I was delighted to see so many young people and their parents enjoying themselves at the festival. It was very impressively organised and a delight to be involved in.”
