CHELMSFORD’S Summer Beer Festival is in full swing.

Real ale drinkers can flock to Admirals Park in the town to try more than 300 real ales and more than 120 ciders and perries.

There will also be a selection of local wines and Belgian beers to taste.

The 31st summer beer festival began on Tuesday and will run right through until Saturday when it will be family fun day.

The family event takes place from noon until 6pm when there will be a funfair and wristbands will cost £4 for unlimited rides be a funfair.

The festival starts each day at 12 noon and ends at 11pm with live entertainment each evening.

Entry for members of CAMRA is free and non members are free up until 6pm.
